An Evening at Merriweather

On Saturday, May 7, join us for the first annual “Celebrate Long Island” An Evening at Merriweather. Staying true to our roots on the illustrious Gold Coast of Long Island, the inaugural event will be one of the grandest celebrations the Gold Coast of Long Island has ever experienced.

Presented by Long Island University, Americana Manhasset, and Poll Restaurants under a 30,000 square foot tent, the evening will be reminiscent of the glamorous parties imagined in The Great Gatsby.

Exclusive lounges, marvelous cocktails, luxurious fare, dancing, live musical performances, showcases in fashion, film and music, An Evening at Merriweather will be held on the landmark estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post and E.F. Hutton (now LIU Post).

An Evening at Merriweather supports our community partners: Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Gold Coast International Film Festival, Nassau County Museum of Art, Old Westbury Gardens, and Sands Point Preserve Conservancy.
